Installing a Fujitsu Air Conditioner
I don’t know how I thought I could survive the Australian summer without a Fujitsu air conditioner. I bought my house in the middle of last year during winter, aware that it didn’t come with air conditioners. However, instead of having a unit installed before I moved in, I naïvely thought that if the previous owners could tough out the hot weather, so could I.
Come spring, I was still positive. However, in December, the temperatures started creeping up. By Christmas, it was nearly 40 degrees Celsius. I soon realised that my cathedral ceilings and sky lights didn’t help the situation. My house felt like a greenhouse!
Finally, when the temperatures soared past the 40 degrees mark, I gave up. I visited my local appliance store The Good Guys and ordered a Fujitsu air conditioning unit. I chose a split system model so that I could also use it to heat my house during winter. The best part of it all was that Fujitsu had a cash back offer which allowed me to get back $100.
It took a couple of weeks before I could get a technician in to install the air conditioner. Understandably, they are very busy servicing many houses during summer! It was well worth the wait though. It is such a relief to now be able to turn on the air conditioner whenever it’s boiling hot outside!
